This is the splurge bracket, & it’s only one watch deep on WristyBizzle so far, but it’s a genuine standout & one worth the read even if it’s out of most people’s budget.
Best Splurge: Oris Big Crown ProPilot Bronze
~£1,500-2,000
Proper Swiss automatic, bronze case that develops a unique patina as it ages, & genuine pilot heritage behind the design. Oris have been making watches for over 120 years, pitched above value brands like SEIKO & Citizen but below the likes of Omega & Rolex. It’s the most expensive watch in the WristyBizzle collection & also the highest quality, & a genuine GADA contender if you can stretch the budget.
Positives: Build quality, developing patina, legibility, brand heritage | Negatives: Less impressive lume, crystal attracts smudges easily, power reserve is decent but not class-leading.
One watch, one bracket, for now. If there’s something else at this price you think deserves the WristyBizzle treatment, let us know in the comments & we’ll add it to the list. Find us on Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok & YouTube!
